About the surgeons
Dr. Andy Hawthorne
Dr. Andy Hawthorne is Board Certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is currently the Medical Director of the weight loss program at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, where he performs the LAP-BAND®®, laparoscopic gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy for the treatment of morbid obesity
Dr. Hawthorne is a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin and pursued his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed his general surgery training in Dallas, at Baylor University Medical Center, one of the busiest bariatric programs in the country, where he focused on advanced laparoscopy and bariatrics.
He is a member of the American Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endocopic Surgeons, American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Brady Anderson
Dr. Brady Anderson is Board Certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is currently an active member of the weight loss program at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. He performs the LAP-BAND®®, laparoscopic gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy for the treatment of morbid obesity.
Dr. Anderson performed his undergraduate training at Baylor University in Waco. He finished his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences in Lubbock, before pursuing his general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center. There he worked closely with renowned bariatric surgeons who performed over 1000 bariatric procedures annually.
He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Williamson County Medical Society and an Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Mario Longoria
Dr. Mario Longoria is Board Certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and fellowship trained in Laparoscopic surgery. He is currently an active member of the weight loss program at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. He performs the LAP-BAND®®, laparoscopic gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy for the treatment of morbid obesity.
Dr. Longoria completed his surgical training at the University of Missouri in Kansas City where he was awarded Chief Resident of the year. He then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of California in Irvine.
He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, SAGES, ASMBS and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
